This Privacy Policy explains how Speak Spanish With Me ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects your personal information when you visit speakspanishwithme.online (the "site") or contact us. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your information openly and lawfully under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Who we are (data controller)

Speak Spanish With Me is a small, independent online Spanish tutoring service run by Armary and based in Slovakia. For any privacy question you can reach us at write@speakspanishwithme.online.

Information we collect

• Information you give us — your name, email address and the content of your message when you use our contact form or email us, along with any details you share to arrange a lesson.
• Analytics data — if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics collects anonymised information about how you use the site (for example pages viewed, approximate region, device and browser type). This is only collected after you give consent.
• Technical data — standard information your browser sends (such as IP address and device type) needed to serve the site securely.

How and why we use your information (legal bases)

• To reply to your enquiries and arrange lessons — to take steps at your request before providing a service, and our legitimate interest in responding to you.
• To provide analytics and improve the site — only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
• To keep the site secure and working correctly — our legitimate interest in running a safe website.
• To send you information you have specifically requested (such as a newsletter, if offered) — with your consent.

Who we share your information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us operate the site, and only as far as needed:

• Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC) — website analytics, only if you consent.
• Our hosting & email provider — to store and serve the website and to deliver contact-form messages to our own mailbox. The contact form is sent directly through our mailbox using authenticated email; we do not use a separate third-party form service.

Some providers are based outside the European Economic Area (for example in the United States). Where that happens, the transfer is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

How long we keep your information

We keep enquiry and lesson-related messages only for as long as needed to respond to you and manage our lessons, and then for a reasonable period for our records. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' standard retention settings. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

Children's privacy

Armary teaches learners of all ages, including children. Lessons for anyone under 18 are arranged with a parent or guardian, who provides any necessary information and consent. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children through this website. If you believe a child has given us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights under GDPR

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our use of your personal data, to request a copy of it (data portability), and to withdraw any consent you have given at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email write@speakspanishwithme.online.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Slovak supervisory authority, the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic (Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov Slovenskej republiky, dataprotection.gov.sk), or with the supervisory authority in your own EU country.
